Day 8-9 - Third and Fourth Day of HBC | Teen Night

The third and fourth days of HBC went very, very well with 135 children on Friday and 137 on Saturday. Mallow Bible Fellowship finished the week on a fantastic note as they taught every lesson every day... What an incredible accomplishment, as many taught for their first time this week!! There were several children from the classes that were interested in hearing more about the gospel, and they were able to have good follow up spiritual conversations one on one with various teachers and helpers afterward.

The lessons yesterday and today were all about God providing himself as the atonement for our sins and the choice each of us have to make to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. The word of God was taught clearly and the opportunity was presented to each child to receive God's free gift of salvation. Please continue to pray that God would nurture the seeds that were planted this week.

Teen night was a great time... There were 50-60 teens that attended. We hung out, played a bit with the big ball (and popped it!), and put away about 20 pizzas! I had the opportunity to share the gospel to the whole group utilizing a word picture to explain God's holiness, our sinfulness, and our need for God's gift of redemption through Christ alone. Most of the teens were very attentive, and there were a few that expressed an interest to hear more about the gospel. Please pray for them!
