Day 4 - Waterford and HBC Prep

Today we traveled 2 hours on a bus to the city of Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland. We visited the Waterford crystal factory for a little bit, and then we went on a walking tour of the Viking Triangle. The tour was loaded with history as we spent time in the Medieval Museum, Reginald's Tower, and the Bishop's Palace that covered a period of 1000 AD to 1922 AD that shaped the entire country of Ireland. The city of Waterford was one of the few not taken by Oliver Cromwell, so there wasn't a chance for Cromwell to destroy many of the historical artifacts that they had on display. What a great day to learn about the great history of this ancient land.

In the evening a few of our team members had the chance to meet with their HBC teams to further prepare and solidify their plans. Everyone is getting very excited to serve the Lord by teaching the Bible to the children of Mallow. Please keep praying! The work is great and the volunteers from MBF are nervous, but ready to serve.
